Christmas Concert

Our Christmas Concert will be held on December 11th. All information regarding show times, drop-off locations, and attire can be found in the document below.

A big thank you goes out to our music teachers, Mr. I, Ms. Frank, and Mme Chantal, for their hard work and dedication in preparing our students for this performance. We also thank our amazing team members, who have volunteered to supervise our students during the show.

Holiday Theme Days

Our Cycle Three Leadership Group has planned the following fun holiday-themed spirit days for the entire school to enjoy:

  • December 12 – Pajama Day

  • December 15 – “Elf” Day (wear red and green or your best elf gear!)

  • December 17 – Fancy Day (dress up in fancy attire of your choice for our Christmas Lunch)

  • December 19 – Christmas Sweater Day

In addition, on December 18, our Leadership Group will be running holiday-themed, school-wide activities for all students.

A big thank you to our dedicated Leadership Advisors, Mme McCaig, Ms. Beth, Mme Daphne, Mme Geneviève, and Ms. McCaffrey for making student leadership possible at our school!

Holiday Carnival Day

We have some exciting activities planned for our last day of school before the Holidays!

  • Our Cycle 2 & 3 students will be going skating at the Huntington arena and enjoying a hot dog lunch at school.
  • Our Preschol, cycle 1 and LC students will be going to Zig Zag Zoo for the day (will need to bring a bagged lunch).

We will finish off our day with a school-wide Christmas caroling campfire before students head out for the holidays.

Holiday Lunch

Ms. Andra will be putting on a Holiday Lunch on December 17th for all of our students and staff. A big thank you to all of our PPO volunteers for their help in making this possible!

OES Remembers

We held a beautiful Remembrance Day Ceremony at OES on November 12th. A big thank you to Mr. I and Ms. Frank for coordinating this event.

Our students made us proud through their singing, readings, and the laying of a wreath. We extend our thanks to the veterans, members of the Legion, community members, and families who were able to join us.

Lest we forget.
